Mill Creek 8.27.22

2nd to last regular season event, longer tees, great course, new personal bests, and another Hole-In-One!

There’s a LOT to unpack in this event!
To start, a HUGE “thank you” to Mike Long and his staff at Mill Creek.
I’ve long regarded this course as a place that EVERYONE needs to get to, and it didn’t let down; but on top of that, the level of hospitality and professionalism of their staff has been unmatched from any course this season!

Topic 2:

ANOTHER HOLE-IN-ONE!!!

Congratulations to Wesley Carter!!!!!!!!
Hole 17, 193 yards, 5 iron.
Hit 12′ in front and rolled right in!

If you have met or talked to Wes, he has a genuine love for the game and such a good eye for the sport!
It is fantastic to see people like Wes rewarded with buying us drink!

Odds are 12,500 in 1 and we have had Ace’s in 3 of  the last 4 events!

Topic 3:
A new personal best!

Congrats to Jonathan Citty!!!

Starting the 2021 season as a 14 handicap, Citty began fully connecting the dots early this season and is reaching his prime of golf.
Friday he tied his personal best at his home course with a 77.
Then came into Saturday, and set his new record at 75!
80% up-and-down rate, approaches on fire, and just a well controlled round!

With the new personal best, Citty kicked out butts and took home his 2nd Net win of the year and regain the #1 spot on the Points Leaderboard!

Congratulations to
JONATHAN CITTY & JACOB Van LEEUWEN!

J. Citty took 1st NET with -5, 67!

J. Van Leeuwen 1st Gross with +3, 75!!
Claiming his 2nd Gross win of the season in a scorecard playoff vs Citty.
Jacob is a golfer capable of going VERY low and dominating a course; in the 2022 season, he is making a name for himself!
