Wind was the main topic on March 20th, as the RDUgolf Tour took on Anderson Creek in Spring Lake, NC. The Davis Love III course utilizes the rolling fairways which provided a fun test for our field of 48 golfers. The elevation changes were only accentuated by the undulating greens; they were fairly sizable, but if you are in the wrong area, you’re left with a tricky run to the hole!

The weather started a bit brisk for the early tee times, but quickly became incredibly comfortable. The downside: 10-15 MPH winds which were somehow ALWAYS in our face.
It provided a true test to pair with the required well-placed drives. A low bullet was your best friend in this round.

A few people figured out the wind and course and won the day:

1st place – Net: Craig Walton with a +1, 73
2nd place – Net: John Gagliano with a +3, 75
1st place – Net: John Gagliano with a +3, 75
