Major event #1, DONE!
Double points, a custom Lie+Loft print, and Brookfields Indoor golf gift certificates have been distributed!
Bentwinds Country Club, generously opened their doors to the RDUgolf Tour, and the course could not have been more perfect.
The fairways and tee-boxes were lush, the rough was punitive, and the greens, while receptive, were rolling REALLY smooth and quick. The course layout provided a varied set of holes, capping off with a stunning 18th hole; par-4 requiring a long approach shot over a lake to a well-protected green.

The VERY tough finishing stretch, provided a LOT of activity at the top of the leaderboard.
In the last 45 minutes of the event, the 1st place spot bounced between 4 different golfers, all in contention, but Tyler Fowler stayed clam and parred 16, 17, and 18 to take home the W

He has now officially qualified for the Tour Championship at Talamore in October!

- Hole 15 (159, Par-3) had 0 max scores! (first time in RDUgolf Tour history)
