The RDUgolf Tour took on its first university course with UNC Finley.
While this field of golfers had the highest average handicap, this was the 2nd lowest scoring event of the season! People showed up prepared for Sunday!
Harboring large greens with significant bunkering and fall-offs making approaches dangerous.
While the front-9 plays shorter, the back-9 grows some teeth, and we saw some significant damage done to scorecards on holes 15-18!

3 separate times, a golfers was leading the event until taking a double on 17; driving into the woods and a tough pin placements made for great drama on the Live Leaderboard.
Chris Norton fell prey to 17, but his consistent and steady golf early in the round led him to victory!

Congratulations to Chris Norton on his win!
Chris is one of the RDUgolf OG’s and it has been a pleasure to see his game grow since moving to the States in early 2020!

He has now officially qualified for the Tour Championship at Talamore in October!

  • 1st – Net: Chris Norton (-4, 68)
  • 2nd – Net: Robert Ewing (-3, 69)

As is tradition: John Gagliano took home another Gross win, but Scott Beamer gave him a run for his money until a double on 18

  • 1st – Gross: John Gagliano (Even, 72)
