Candyroot Takeover
A VERY rare opportunity: We’re taking over a course!
Saturday, March 20th, 2027. The ideal day: 18 holes in the AM, grab some snacks, head back out for more golf!
If you don’t know, Candyroot is a new, HIGHLY anticipated, resort coming to the sandhills of SC. Preview Play opened recently and fully sold out in 75 minutes.
Multiple courses planned, fantastic land, and interesting designs; they are looking to compete with Pinehurst for golf travelers!

Local Course News
A LOT has been happening in Central NC golf, so here’s a quick recap:
RGA: Completed renovation on their 2nd 9. Driving Range in progress & should open this fall.
Lonnie Poole: Replaced all Bent greens with Bermuda. All reports are saying the course is in AMAZING shape right now. Creating a new 2nd hole is still in progress.
Carolina CC: After 13 months closed for renovation, CCC should re-open for play in October.
The MatchBox: Tobacco Road opened a new 12-hole wedge course.
Pinehurst 9: After going from Bent to Bermuda, 18 new greens, & new bunkers, course 9 has reopened for play.
Pinehurst 11: Opening date for C&C’s new course has been set! March 29th 2027. Booking is now open and required a resort stay.
