2021 Season Wrapup
With over 150 participants across 14 events, season 1 come to an end with the top 32 golfers in the league competing at Talamore Golf Resort!
2.5x leaderboard points were on the line, and some golfers made SIGNIFICANT jumps in the leaderboard, but it wasn’t enough to dethrone the #1
With 1 Net win, 7 top-10’s (net), 9 Gross wins, a scoring average of 73.5, 69% FW’s hit, 65% GIR, and 3,210 Leaderboard Point, the RDUgolf Tour is proud to congratulate:

The Spirit of the RDUgolf Tour award will be a trophy given annually to the golfer which most exemplifies the spirit, mindset, and appreciation for golf which this league stands for.

Offseason Outings
We all know golf season doesn’t stop in NC, so we’re keeping this party going with a few off-season outings.
No scoring, no required tee-boxes, no prizes. Just golfers getting linking up, playing the game we love, and having some fun!
The Preserve at Jordan Lake
- Saturday, November 20th
- Cost: $45 paid to the course (Includes cart & range balls)
- Tee Times: 10:30-11:50AM
- Golfers: 36 spots (filled on a first come, first serve basis)

Sanford Municipal Walkers Only Charity Outing
We are pairing up with Mike Silvestri from SeeGolfPlayGolf to host a relaxed charity outing to raise money and support health and activity for the youth of the Triangle.
This WALKING ONLY event will get us on our feet and will have a required donation to be collected and given to the YMCA of the Triangle on behalf of RDUgolf and SeeGolfPlayGolf!
- Saturday, December 11th
- Cost: $18 paid to the course
- Minimum donation: $15 (paid to RDUgolf on the event day
- Tee Times: 10-11:20AM
- Golfers: 36 spots (filled on a first come, first serve basis)

Couples Mini Golf Outing
We will host a series of mini-golf nights at Par-Tee Shack in Raleigh.
Bring your significant other and prepare for snacks, beverages, some of the most fun mini golf around!

Key Changes
- Updated Handicap Weighting:
- Based on analytics of 2021 events
- Event Registration:
- Extra registration windows to allow golfers to find the league mid-season
- Major events and private courses will require having played in at least 1 other event
- Gross Scoring:
- Increased prizes for Gross winners
- Tracking a gross Season-Long Points Leaderboard
- More updates for gross scoring coming soon
- New Formats:
- 2-day, removed event (1 event)
- Blind-Pairing Best Ball (1 event)
- Match Play (1 event, invitational. No season points distributed)
- Ryder Cup (1 event, invitational. No season points distributed)
- Hole-in-1 Prize Fund:
- Golfers pay into a prize fun, if they make an ACE, they take the jackpot!
2-Day Williamsburg Event
To keep the fun going, we’re hitting the road for 1 event in 2022.
Williamsburg is a hotbed of history AND great golf; we will be playing 2 amazing courses.
Royal New Kent:
A Mike Strantz designed beast on a expansive piece of property filled with elevation changes, visual intimidate, and is a true test of your game.
Kingsmill Resort – River Course
A few weeks prior to the LPGA Pure Silk event, we will be playing this pristine Pete Dye design which will require non-stop strategy and execution
